Scientific knowledge production forms the cornerstone of Vabers’ mission. Our academic collaborations with universities and research institutes have resulted in groundbreaking publications in various conferences and journals, taking on leading roles in the field.

• “Smart City Planning”: In a project conducted by TÜBİTAK, we provided optimization models for sensor networks and IoT-based smart city projects in collaboration with local governments, further strengthening the project through GIS integration.

• “Predictive Maintenance in Manufacturing: AI-Based Optimization Models”: We offered innovative approaches to reduce costs in manufacturing processes by providing consultancy on predictive maintenance solutions.
• “Data-Driven Supply Chain Optimization: A Multi-Dimensional Perspective”: We supported data-driven supply chain management and optimization methods, covering data collection, cleaning, and analysis dimensions.
• “Automotive Digital Transformation”: We collaborated with a NOSAB (Bursa)-based automotive spare parts manufacturer to integrate digital twin technology, achieving significant efficiency improvements in production processes.
• “Banking Risk Assessment with Machine Learning Models”: We designed machine learning algorithms to enhance credit risk analysis for a factoring company. These algorithms applied an optimized risk mapping system, surpassing those commonly used by traditional banks, to evaluate credit applicants.

• “Optimizing Workforce Allocation in the Hospitality Industry”: We developed workforce planning models for the tourism and hospitality sector, improving process efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• “Wind Corridor Optimization for Urban Energy Solutions”: In a TÜBİTAK project conducted in Ankara, we optimized wind corridors to enhance local energy production, reduce dependency on fossil fuels, and effectively utilize low-cost renewable energy sources. By employing GIS and CFD methods, we successfully reduced energy costs.
• “The Role of Machine Learning in Renewable Energy Forecasting”: We developed and shared machine learning algorithms to forecast renewable energy sources, emphasizing their role and application outcomes.
• “Sustainability Metrics in Digital Transformation Projects”: We took a primary consultancy role in a project focused on integrating sustainability metrics into digital transformation processes.

• “Optimized Logistics Networks through Advanced Analytics” – Lojistik sektöründe rota planlama ve depolama yönetimi için veri analitiği temelli çözümler geliştirdik ve bu çözümler optimize edilmiş hali ile uygulamaya döküldü. Bu işbirliği ile Almanya merkezli Avrupa lojistik operasyonları başarıya ulaştırıldı.
• Energy Efficiency and Carbon Footprint Reduction: İngiltere merkezli ve Irak’ta projelendirme yürüten bir enerji firması ile enerji yoğun sektörlerde karbon emisyonlarını azaltmaya yönelik veri analitiği tabanlı çözümler geliştirdik. (North Rumaila Oil Field, Basra)
• “Horizon 2020 – Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency”: Döngüsel ekonomi projelerinde, kaynak verimliliğini artıran optimizasyon modelleri sunduk.
• “AI for Sustainable Agriculture”: AI tabanlı tarım uygulamalarının geliştirilmesi için tarım teknolojileri alanında bölgesel anlamda öncü firmaya geniş çaplı danışmanlık desteği sağladık.

We actively contribute not only to research and publications but also to capacity development training tailored for industry professionals.

• ISO 50001 Energy Management Training: Training sessions were conducted for industrial enterprises to enhance capacity in energy management according to international standards.
• AI and Machine Learning Workshops: Technical workshops were organized to explore the applicability of artificial intelligence technologies in the business world.
• Digital Transformation Training Programs: Guidance was provided to executives across four different industries on digitalization strategies and implementation areas.
• Digital Leadership and Remote Work Management: Post-pandemic training programs supported executives in managing remote work processes, including consultancy for over 40 managers in the automotive spare parts sector.
• STEM for Youth: In collaboration with universities, programs aimed at equipping 18-25-year-olds with fundamental skills in engineering and technology were conducted, alongside consultancy on reporting and scientific infrastructure.
